During surgery hours please tell the receptionist if your call is urgent.

Out of Hours: If you have an urgent medical need to see a doctor out of normal surgery hours, you can access the Out of Hours service by ringing the practice number where you will be automatically transferred to the 111 service.   Alternatively you can ring 111 direct.  This service is not for routine appointment or the supply of repeat meedications.

Out of hours GP services are provided by qualified doctors and nurses.  You may receive telephone advice from a doctor or be asked to attend a local primary care centre for an examination.  If, for medical reasons, travel is impossible, a home visit from a doctor can be arranged.

You should only ring 999 for an ambulance if you think the problem is life threatening or very urgent e.g. collapse, chest pain or breathing difficulties.
