Dr S J Young (Male) MBChB, MRCGP – Snr GP Partner
Dr Young has been at the practice since 1995 and has a wide breadth of experience across general practice. He is a keen cyclist and has a special interest in sports injuries. He offers steroid injections for shoulder problems when required. Dr Young is also the Senior Partner.
Dr D J Bloom (Male) MBBS, BSc Hons, MRCGP – GP Partner
Dr Bloom has been at the practice since 2016. He has a special interest in working with people who experience persistent pain conditions to try and improve their quality of life. He enjoys running and has recently been persuaded to buy a bike by Dr Young.
Dr S Machin (Female) MBBS – Salaried GP
Joined the practice in January 2021.
Dr L Townend (Male) MBBS – Salaried GP
Joined the practice in September 2022.
Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)
Advanced Clinical Practitioners come from a range of professional backgrounds, such as nursing, pharmacy, paramedics and occupational therapy. They are educated to Masters level and have developed skills and knowledge to allow them to take on expanded roles and scope of practice caring for patients.

Physician Associates (PA)
A Physician Associate supports doctors in the diagnosis and management of patients. They have taken post graduate training and work under the supervision of a Doctor. They are trained to perform the following day to day tasks as well as many more:-
